Become the Fundraising and Community Engagement Lead at Sandgate Women’s Shelter of York Region. This critical full time role is hybrid and focuses on enhancing fundraising and partnerships. In this position, you will oversee all fundraising activities and lead initiatives to foster relationships with donors and community partners.

Your role will focus on aligning fundraising strategies with the shelter's goals while engaging the community through public speaking and relationship-building. Flexibility with onsite work at Jackson's Point is required. Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies
- Build and maintain a strong donor and partner portfolio
- Facilitate community engagement through presentations




- Research and track grant and gift opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive successful campaigns Requirements:
- Diploma or 2-3 years’ experience in relevant field
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proven fundraising track record and community engagement
- Commitment to anti-oppression and feminist approaches
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle Lead impactful initiatives that contribute to the empowerment of women and children at Sandgate Women’s Shelter.
