OPEN COMPETITION THE Keethanow Group of Businesses Department is now accepting applications for the following: Full time Permanent Position based out of Hall Lake Gas Bar in Hall Lake, SK: Head Cashier.

Responsibilities

- Overseeing salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees;
- Demonstrate experience in supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar;
- Evaluating the supply and availability of stocks, and wastage;
- Monitoring shelve stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store;
- Investigating market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers;
- Addressing customer’s requests, comments, and complaints;
- Motivating employees to achieve targets;
- Training new staff members and assist with scheduling shifts’
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Greet customers entering establishment.
- Oversee the store’s front-end with respect to loss-prevention
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas




- Process/inspect merchandise returns and exchanges
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards
- Assist/listen to customers

Qualifications

- Must have High school diploma, GED or equivalent;
- Must have 1-year experience in retail environment and be familiar with cash outs, invoicing, inventory, coding and proven track record of excellent customer relationship skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers;
- Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying levels of priority;
- A combination of education and experience may be considered;
- MUST provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
