The Wiidookaw Health Outreach

Worker plays a vital role in the well-being of Indigenous individuals and families, fostering health equity and trust.

Your responsibilities include engaging with community members, delivering health education, and aiding access to health and social services. Leveraging your knowledge of traditional practices and solid communication skills, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to support holistic health care. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct outreach to Indigenous community members
- Share knowledge on health, wellness,



and chronic conditions
- Guide individuals in accessing traditional and primary care
- Work with local organizations to enhance health education
- Maintain records of outreach initiatives Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in relevant field
- At least 2 years of frontline experience
- Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and languages
- Clear driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Experience in community health promotion preferred Engage with Indigenous communities and advocate for their health through education, outreach, and support.
