- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries.
- Provide administrative support to HR Director.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system in order to support the benefits and payroll administration process.
- Own the Work Anniversary Program by tracking, communicating, and purchasing gifts.
- Own offboarding processes and applicable notices and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve employee technical and/or PTO issues in the HRIS system (UKG).
- Join and participate as the employer appointed lead of the Health & Safety Committee to ensure safety objectives and compliance is achieved.
- Prepare HR reports as requested.
- Update documents and communication platforms to support transparent company communication.
- Update employee benefits changes and respond to employee benefit questions.
- Update & launch employee surveys and compile preliminary data.
- Support employment compliance reporting by completing the Employment Equity, Job Vacancy, Health & Safety, and Accessible Canada Reports as required.
- Maintain and update the HR SharePoint site.
- Coordinate culture and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist with the development and implementation of policies.
- Action recruitment and onboarding activities including creating job requisitions/job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting phone screens, participating in interviews, presenting offers and facilitating offer negotiations.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Other duties as required.

- 3+ years of relevant work experience supporting in an administrative function with Human Resources exposure.
- Experience with technical and non-technical recruiting.
- Experience and/or certification as a JHSC member.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Qualifications
- A post-secondary education in Human Resources, or related discipline.
- Experience with UKG or a similar
