Full-time Fort McMurray, AB Monday to Friday, some evenings
Coordinate the cultural side of our programming: Elder visits, ceremony, land-based activities and language sessions across our housing and recovery streams.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate ceremony, smudging and land-based healing activities
- Build and hold relationships with Elders, Knowledge Keepers and Nations
- Support participants in reconnecting with culture, community and family
- Work alongside clinical staff to keep care culturally safe and trauma-informed
What you bring
Required
- Lived or professional experience in Indigenous cultural programming
- Comfort facilitating groups of mixed ages and backgrounds
- Valid driver's licence
- Transparent criminal record and vulnerable sector check
