Role Description The Information Technology Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brossard, QC, responsible for overseeing the company’s IT operations and infrastructure. This role includes managing network and server environments, ensuring data security and system reliability, and coordinating the implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of hardware, software, and cloud solutions. The IT Manager will lead and mentor the IT team, define support processes, and respond to user issues, tickets, and requests to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

The role also involves collaborating with business and functional leaders to understand technology needs, managing vendors and service providers, and supporting compliance with relevant regulatory and security standards.



The IT Manager will monitor performance metrics, prepare reports for leadership, and contribute to long-term IT strategy and budgeting.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure and operations, including network administration, server management, and endpoint support.
- Proficiency in system implementation and maintenance, including operating systems, business applications, and cloud-based tools.
- Experience with information security practices, data protection, backup and recovery, and compliance with industry and privacy regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead IT teams, manage projects, delegate tasks, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
- Skill in vendor and contract management, including evaluating solutions, negotiating agreements, and overseeing service levels.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated environment is an asset.
- Ability to work in office on the South Shore of Montreal, QC and collaborate effectively with local and remote teams.
