A career at National Bank as an Investment Advisory Services Associate offers you the opportunity to discover the field of financial planning by playing an advisory role with clients while ensuring that recommendations align with the financial plan established by the Financial Planner. This role allows you to develop your understanding of client needs, strengthen your advisory skills, expand your knowledge of financial planning, and contribute to portfolio results.

Your Role

- Work closely with the Financial Planner(s) assigned to you to help provide enhanced support and service to clients.

- Advise clients by actively listening to their needs and helping them make informed investment decisions.

- In collaboration with the Financial Planner, identify business development opportunities and contribute to portfolio growth and results.

- Identify opportunities for referrals and collaboration with partners in both investment and lending solutions.

- Open certain investment accounts and guide clients on the most appropriate investment strategies to achieve their financial goals.

Prerequisites

- College diploma (DEC) with three years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with one to three years of relevant experience.

- Mutual Fund Representative (MFR) designation.

- Experience in business development within a financial advisory environment is considered an asset.





- Basic knowledge of investments and wealth management.

- Proficiency with investment-related software and digital tools.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
