Summary–ThePosition

ReportingtotheManager,theJobDeveloperprovidesjobmatchingandplacementservices to clients who require assistance in conducting their own job search due to poor work habits, market perception barriers or interpersonal skills. The Job Developer is responsible for building partnerships with employers in the GTA to create job opportunities for clients. The Job Developer plays a hands-on role with clientsand employers, providing support and monitoring of placements to ensure job retention.

- AssistindevelopingpromotionalmaterialsaswellasmarketYESservicestothebusiness community
- Planandorganizejobfairs,informationsessionsandemployerpresentationsona regular basis
- Developandmaintainadiversejobbank,keepingallinformationcurrentandwell organized
- Developtrainingplansinconjunctionwithemployersforthedurationofalltraining placements
- Negotiatetrainingcontractsandstipends,ensuringallformsaresignedpriorto placement start dates
- MarketYESservicestoemployersandcreatejobtrials,jobshadowing,mentorshipand job placement opportunities as well as regular job orders by: purchase of relevant employer lists, mail-outs, cold calls, telephone solicitation and any other method deemed appropriate.
- Facilitateregulargroupworkshopsonemploymentpreparation,jobmaintenance,and life skills
- Ensureallcasenotesanddocumentationforeachfilearecompleted,accurateandkept up-to-date
