We are currently seeking a qualified Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. If you’re a skilled tradesperson with experience in fire alarm systems and commercial electrical work, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

As a Journeyman Electrician at Four Alarm, your role will include:

- Installing, modifying, inspecting, and verifying fire alarm and intercom systems

- Running conduit systems, pulling wire, and terminating electrical connections

- Reading and interpreting engineered drawings, schematics, and specifications

- Performing electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting (training provided as needed)

- Completing and submitting electronic documentation and reports

- Providing operational training to clients and end-users





- Ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction on every job

- Complying with safety regulations, codes, and best practices

Qualifications and Requirements

- Alberta Journeyman Electrician Certification (AAIT) or equivalent (Red Seal preferred)

- Minimum 1 year of journeyman-level experience (flexible based on capability)

- Proficient with electrical meters, hand tools, and conduit bending

- Comfortable working independently or collaboratively on job sites

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

- Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs, climbing ladders, and maneuvering tools

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Experience with fire alarm systems and related life safety equipment is an asset

- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic digital platforms

Compensation and Benefits

- Hourly Wage: $40.00 - $47.00 (commensurate with experience)
