Take on the role of Children's Services Worker with Linck Child, Youth & Family Supports. This position offers full time work managing cases and providing essential protective services for children. Linck is hiring for a Children's Services Worker on a one-year contract basis, emphasizing child welfare and family interventions.
You will be responsible for comprehensive case management, assessing child functioning, and providing therapeutic support. Furthermore, you will engage with court matters concerning child protection, offering critical support and documentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for children's services case management
- Provide protective and preventative services to children
- Prepare and present assessments and reports
- Conduct therapeutic interventions with children
- Participate in Ontario Court of Justice proceedings Requirements:
- Honours Bachelor’s degree; M.S.W. preferred
- Experience in child welfare (1-3 years)
- Knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks
- Familiarity with Safety Framework and community resources
