Previous maintenance experience with CNC equipment, forklifts, or diesel trucks in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced workplace.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe and fully operational work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs, changing HVAC filters, and conducting preventative maintenance.
- Repair broken or leaking plumbing fixtures to prevent water damage and restore functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including damaged wiring, shorts, and severed lines.
- Perform painting and minor carpentry repairs as needed.
- Conduct inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.




- Submit parts and supply requests when materials are needed for repairs.
- Weatherize facilities by repairing weather stripping and replacing insulation when necessary.
- Complete and update work orders accurately, including documenting services performed and closing requests upon completion.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with facility improvement projects and other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

- Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, boiler, septic, sewage, and general building maintenance systems.
- Ability to safely operate common maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined or hard-to-reach areas.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Education and Experience

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Electrical license preferred.
- Previous maintenance technician or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
