About Awesome KeepAwesome Keep is a counselling and therapy practice focused on making accessible, affordable and meaningful mental health support available to individuals, families, children, youth and communities.

We are looking for a creative, motivated Marketing & Social Media Intern who wants hands-on experience helping a growing mental health business build its brand, increase its online presence and connect with recent clients.

This is an opportunity to work directly with the business owner and have meaningful ownership of marketing projects-not simply observe or perform administrative tasks.

About the RoleAs our Marketing & Social Media Intern, you will help develop and execute strategies to:

- Increase Awesome Keep’s visibility across social media
- Generate awareness and interest in our counselling services
- Help attract new clients and referral opportunities
- Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Develop campaigns targeting parents, youth, athletes, families and other potential clients
- Research relevant communities, organizations and partnership opportunities
- Identify social media trends and content opportunities
- Help develop promotional campaigns, flyers, digital materials and other marketing assets
- Assist with website content and basic SEO
- Track social media and marketing performance
- Analyze what is working and recommend improvements




- Help develop creative ideas for client acquisition and community outreach
- Support local marketing initiatives, networking and community partnerships

What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for someone who is:

- Creative and comfortable generating new ideas
- Interested in social media and digital marketing
- A strong writer and communicator
- Comfortable using Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and/or TikTok
- Familiar with Canva or similar design tools
- Interested in content creation and digital marketing
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects
- Proactive and willing to take initiative
- Comfortable working independently
- Interested in entrepreneurship and growing a small business
- Passionate about mental health, community impact or accessible services

You don’t need extensive professional experience. We are more interested in your creativity, initiative and willingness to learn. Students studying Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Media, Entrepreneurship or a related field are encouraged to apply.

The opportunity is intended for a student seeking practical experience and, where applicable, to fulfill an eligible college/university internship, co-op, placement or work-integrated learning requirement.
