Our client, a Canadian Equipment Manufacturer, is looking to hire an experienced Professional Mechanical Engineer to join their team in the West GTA. We are looking for a licensed professional engineer (PEng) with experience designing and developing products with an airflow component. Contribute on continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing existing designs for better efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and productivity Perform structural analyses to ensure the mechanical integrity, reliability and safety of system components Create general arrangement (GA) drawings, P&ID;, GA exploded views, and detail assembly instructions to support manufacturing and assembly Select appropriate materials and components based on system specifications Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring internal processes are followed and project timeline is managed effectively Support product testing, validation, and troubleshooting,
ensuring compliance with performance standards and regulatory requirements Provide technical support to customers, as well as internal production and sales teams Licensed Qualified Engineer (Peng) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design of products with an airflow component Responsibility for duct loss and CFM calculations Experience with blowers, HVAC systems, vacuums, air piping or related equipment and systems Proficiency in SolidWorks Project management experience or training would be an asset Please note, this is an in person position, with potential for hybrid ( 4 days / wk on site), once probationary period has been successfully completed. #
