We are a busy, fast-paced Medical Billing Agency seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Medical Billing Professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have verified experience in medical billing, with specific expertise in Emergency Medicine billing. If you are detail-oriented, highly organized, knowledgeable in medical billing practices, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!

Qualifications

· Proven experience and strong understanding of medical billing codes, claims, and billing procedures

· Specific experience with Emergency Medicine billing

· Knowledge of the Schedule of Benefits (SOB)

· Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy

· Excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic

· Ability to manage a high-volume workload while meeting deadlines

· Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

· Process medical billing for multiple specialties

· Prepare, submit,



and follow up on billing claims

· Perform Direct and Third-Party Billing

· Work with billing software, Microsoft Word, and Excel

· Liaise with external partners, including the Ministry of Health and Service Ontario

· Process and reconcile multiple remittance files

· Reviewing billing information for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as required

· Maintain accurate and organized billing records
