Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, the Intermediate Electrical Designer will develop detailed drawings for industrial facilities across Alberta and Saskatchewan.
This role demands robust expertise in drafting, equipment layout, and an understanding of electrical codes, ensuring that your design work supports quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Generate detailed electrical design drawings for industrial applications
- Develop bills of materials and maintain accurate equipment documentation
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate designs
- Integrate vendor specifications into overall design packages
- Apply applicable industry codes and best practices to designs Requirements:
- Journeyman Electrician or diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
- At least four years of industrial electrical design experience
- Deep knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and technology requirements
- Ability to utilize AutoCAD effectively; Bluebeam skills are a bonus
