Atlantic Towing, part of the Transportation and Logistics Division of J.D. Irving, Limited, is seeking Operations Students based in Saint John, New Brunswick. This opportunity is ideal for a student who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, solving problems, analyzing data, and supporting customer transportation needs. The hourly range for this role is between $19.89 - $26.12.

What You’ll Be Doing





- Assist with day-to-day fleet operations and customer service commitments across Atlantic Towing's Fleets.
- Support the team with operational, maintenance, and administrative activities.
- Gain exposure to marine operations by working with vessel crews and various Atlantic Towing departments.
- Assist in monitoring fleet programs and tracking operational activities.
- Support health, safety, environmental, and compliance initiatives onboard vessels and ashore.
- Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to support reporting and decision-making.
- Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:
- Currently enrolled in an Engineering or Business undergraduate program (or related field of study)
- In positive academic standing
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
