This is a new vacancy. In this nursing role, as a Pediatric Nurse you will have scheduled shifts to care for patients in a school setting. You will work with patients within pediatric ages with differing complexity of care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable. This is a Casual position requiring travel anywhere within the Waterloo Wellington Region during school hours.

What you’ll do

- Using appropriate assessment tools/techniques to assess patients' individualized needs
- Executing and continuously monitor care plans
- Engaging patients using a collaborative approach by building rapport and trust
- Maintaining and update professional patient records related to patient encounters and plans

What you bring

- Registration with the CNO as a Nurse in valuable standing
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required
- Experience in Pediatric care is mandatory
- Experience in delivering community care is an asset
- Clinical skills in gastric feed, tracheostomy, and ventilation care strongly preferred
- Reliability and flexibility




- Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area
- Passion for making a difference in your community
- Required on-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs
