The Registered

Nurse is essential to providing nursing care to patients at Atikokan Health under the leadership of the Chief Nursing Officer. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing patient care in line with the policies of the Hospital. You will engage with diverse patient populations, delivering exceptional service and contributing to positive health outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and evaluate patient needs and outcomes
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Promote health and wellness in patient interactions
- Ensure adherence to nursing practice standards
- Lead and mentor fellow nursing staff Requirements:
- Active RN status with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- CPR certification, with ACLS/TNCC certifications preferred
- Two years of experience in acute care nursing
- Solid critical thinking and computer skills
