You'll review and process applications for non-standard auto insurance while assessing risks involved and negotiating terms with brokers. A passion for customer service and expert knowledge of underwriting procedures will drive success in this position. Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate simple new and renewal insurance applications
- Process policy revisions, cancellations, and quotes
- Calculate premiums with applicable discounts and rates
- Foster relationships and educate brokers on underwriting criteria
- Mentor junior underwriting staff in procedures Requirements:
- Two-year diploma in a relevant field
- 1-2 years underwriting experience preferred
