Here’s where you’ll have an impact:
- Prescription assembly, and preparation for delivery to community Lawtons and Sobeys stores.
- Working with specialized compounding equipment like fume hoods and Maz mixers
- Working with and communicating with retail pharmacies to create and supply compounds for patients
- Receiving telephone requests and questions from other Lawtons/Sobeys pharmacies.
- Ordering and replenishing supplies
- Drug order creation and receiving
- Inventory management
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
- Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
What you bring to the table:
- Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute
- Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
