What your days look like as a Planner-Superintendent:

- Coordinate vessel loading and unloading operations, rail operations, and terminal operations, while optimizing the use of available equipment and manpower;

- Coordinate operations with a focus on safety, productivity, and quality;

- Report any issues raised during the shift to the appropriate level of management;

- Ensure that terminal directives are followed at all times;

- Ensure that plans and strategies are effectively communicated to team members;

- Support accident investigations and analyses and contribute to maintaining a healthy and safe work environment;

- Participate in continuous improvement projects within the Operations department.

To succeed as a Planner-Superintendent, you must have:

- Experience in stevedoring,



container handling, or the maritime field (an asset);

- Experience in transportation logistics (an asset);

- college diploma (DEC) in a relevant field;

- Bilingualism, both written and spoken (French and English);

- Availability to work variable shifts, including day/evening/night and weekends;

- Ability to demonstrate autonomy, teamwork, flexibility, and sound judgment;

- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office suite).
