PILING / FOUNDATION HELPER

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dependable Piling / Foundation Helper to support construction crews working on piling, foundations, excavation, and other civil infrastructure projects across Canada.

The successful candidate will assist skilled workers and equipment operators with daily site activities while maintaining a secure, organized, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist piling and foundation crews with daily construction activities.
- Prepare and move construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with drilling, piling, excavation, and foundation preparation.
- Load, unload, and organize materials at the worksite.
- Support equipment operators and skilled tradespeople as directed.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.




- Follow site safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Assist with basic measurements, marking, and site preparation.
- Report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or hazards to supervisors.
- Perform other general construction duties as required.

Requirements

- Previous construction, piling, foundation, or general labour experience is an asset.
- 0–2 years of experience; training can be provided to suitable candidates.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour and work outdoors.
- Ability to lift materials and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a construction team.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
- Previous experience around heavy equipment is an advantage.
