ABOUT AFC CONSTRUCTION

AFC Construction is a locally owned and operated construction company based in Courtenay, BC. Since our founding in 2004, we've delivered project management, construction management, general contracting, and design-build services.

Our work ranges from high-end residential and multi-unit family developments to a broad portfolio of commercial projects, plus light industrial work and civic projects. We believe that when the right people come together with a shared commitment to quality, accountability, and teamwork, the result is exceptional construction and lasting value for our clients across Vancouver Island.

JOB SUMMARY

As the Project Manager, you will oversee assigned construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources, while also estimating potential current work and preparing proposals.

Beyond day-to-day project management, you will manage relationships with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients while providing guidance and support to direct reports like the Project Coordinator. You will have a direct hand in project success and in shaping how AFC Construction delivers value across Vancouver Island.

WHO ARE YOU?

You are an astute, process-oriented, and adaptable leader who thrives on structured execution while seamlessly transitioning between high-level planning and detailed work.
