AV Group NB Inc. Atholville Mill is currently recruiting for the following position: Red Seal Pipefitter (1st Class)

The Pipefitter is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of low/rich pressure piping systems and their components.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial piping systems for steam, condensate, water, compressed air, chemicals, and process fluids.
- Install, inspect, and repair pumps, valves, heat exchangers, steam traps, pressure-reducing stations, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on piping systems and mechanical equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
- Monitor and adjust system operating conditions, including pressure, temperature, flow, and fluid levels.
- Participate in maintenance shutdowns, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with operations and other maintenance trades to support safe and reliable mill operations.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures





Qualifications

- Graduate of grade twelve high school course along with maintaining a 1st class Pipefitter license.
- Experience considered an asset.
- Preference will be given to those with multiple trades.
- Must be willing to work overtime and take calls.
