Health is looking for a Local Department Head for the Regional Department of Hospital Medicine at Peace Arch Hospital. This leadership role entails direct involvement in the Site Operations Committee and ensuring comprehensive communication channels for all staff members. You will work closely with the Regional Department Head to oversee member appointments and to enhance the wellbeing of the department. Key Responsibilities:

- Chair discussions in Site Operations Committee
- Facilitate communication about departmental policies
- Assess and recommend medical staff appointments
- Promote health initiatives within the department
- Conduct reviews of morbidity and mortality cases Requirements:
- Must hold Active Privileges at the hospital
- CCFP and CMPA certifications required
- Member of the Department interested in collaboration
- Strong focus on creating a respectful workplace
- Commitment to approximately 7 hours per week Lead the way in providing exemplary healthcare at Fraser Health.
