About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated Remote Network Infrastructure Technician to join their distributed team. This role is crucial for the ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our client's global network infrastructure from a remote location. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and performance of network systems, responding to alerts, and resolving issues with minimal disruption. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who excels in a remote work workplace, possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, and is dedicated to maintaining robust network infrastructure without direct on-site supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Remotely monitor network performance and infrastructure health using established tools.
- Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems, hardware malfunctions, and software glitches.
- Perform remote installations, configurations, and upgrades of network devices and systems.
- Implement network security measures and ensure compliance with policies.
- Document network configurations, procedures,



and troubleshooting steps accurately.
- Provide remote technical support to end-users and other IT teams as needed.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Network Infrastructure Technician or similar role, with a strong track record in remote support.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in written and verbal remote collaboration.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+) are highly advantageous.
