A Remote Senior Structural Engineer is needed to support a diverse project portfolio. This role requires a seasoned engineer to deliver exceptional structural solutions from anywhere. Our client seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to join their remote team, engaging with a variety of projects, notably in the Northern Cape.
You are expected to possess a Master’s degree and at least nine years of hands-on engineering experience. This role focuses on high-quality design and collaborative problem-solving across national projects in compliance with South African norms. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive structural design for commercial and industrial applications
- Generate calculations and specifications aligned with SANS
- Provide expert technical support and consultation remotely
- Conduct peer reviews to uphold design standards
- Resolve structural issues throughout design and construction Requirements:
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related area
- Minimum of 9 years in structural engineering design
- Pr Eng registration with ECSA is essential
- Proficient in software such as ETABS and SAP2000
