About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Remote Sourcing Specialist to join their dynamic procurement team. This role is critical for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers to meet the company's growing needs. You will conduct market research, manage the request for proposal (RFP) process, and negotiate terms to secure the best value for the organization, all while working effectively in a remote capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a sourcing expert to make a tangible impact, contribute to supply chain efficiency, and build strategic supplier relationships, fostering innovation and resilience within the procurement function, supporting diverse business units with their specialized sourcing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, screen, and qualify potential suppliers globally and locally.
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, including RFPs, RFQs, and vendor assessments.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favourable agreements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers.




- Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and ethical sourcing standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and sourcing needs.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sourcing , procurement, or category management.
- Proven experience managing the RFP process and conducting supplier negotiations.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and comfortable working within a remote , collaborative technology environment.
