Transform research equity at the University of Waterloo as the Senior Manager. Take charge of initiatives that foster inclusive practices and EDI standards within the research community. This role is a full-time, temporary position based in the Office of the Vice-President, Research and International.

Your primary focus will be to manage the Canada Research Chairs’ Equity Action Plan and develop actionable strategies that promote diversity and inclusiveness. Collaborate with various campus departments to align EDI efforts and ensure effective outreach and engagement. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Research Equity portfolio strategically
- Educate the community on equity best practices
- Assess and refine institutional equity initiatives
- Engage with external organizations for collaboration
- Report on performance metrics related to EDI Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years in EDI-related roles
- Solid project management capabilities
- Experience in staff leadership and development
