RN - ER Profession: Specialty Registered Nurse Specialty: Float RN Duration: 4 weeks Shift: 5/11.25 Hours per Shift: 11.25 Experience: Minimum 2 years recent emergency department experience License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CTAS Must-Have: Point of care lab testing experience preferred Description:Seeking a Registered Nurse to help fill staffing needs in an emergency department and medical unit.Assignment includes floating between the emergency department and medical unit.Core staffing in the emergency department consists of RNs and LPNs per shift.The emergency department provides care to patients of all ages.Additional staff may be present to assist with the care of admitted patients.Core staffing for medical unit includes RNs, LPNs, and other support staff.Certifications preferred include TNCC,



ENPC, PALS, and NRP.The Specialty RN is responsible for the overall coordination and direction of nursing care.This role provides clinical leadership in complex or unpredictable patient care settings.The Specialty RN must demonstrate knowledge, skill, and judgment to provide competent, evidence-based nursing practice.Works collaboratively with other disciplines to coordinate care to achieve patient and family outcomes.Contributes to the effective and effective functioning of the service and coordination of patient care.Complies with documentation processes in the healthcare setting.
