SafetyCulture&ProgramDevelopment;

- Championaproactivesafetycultureandpromoteemployeeengagementinsafetyinitiatives.
- Actasatrustedadvisorandthoughtpartnertoleadersandemployeesonsafety-relatedmatters.
- Evaluateandimprovehealthandsafetypolicies,procedures,andprograms.
- Conductannualreviewsofsafetypoliciestoensureongoingeffectivenessandregulatorycompliance.
- Supportthedevelopmentandimplementationofsafetyinitiativesthatdrivecontinuousimprovement.

IncidentManagement&Investigations;

- Leadandsupportincidentandnear-missinvestigationsusingestablishedinvestigationmethodologies.




- Identifyrootcausesandpartnerwithoperationalleaderstodevelopeffectivecorrectiveactions.
- Promoteacultureofnear-missreportingandproactivehazardidentification.
- Assistwithregulatoryinvestigationsandreportingrequirementsasrequired.
- Supportincidentmanagementandworkers'compensationprocesses,includingreturn-to-workactivitieswhereapplicable.
- UtilizeVelocityEHSandrelatedsystemstodocumentandtrackincidents,correctiveactions,andtrends.

Training&EmployeeDevelopment;

- Assistinmaintainingandimprovingsafetydocumentation,manuals,procedures,andstandards.

Metrics,Reporting&ContinuousImprovement;

- Track,analyze,andreportproactiveandreactivesafetymetrics.

Qualifications

- 4-yeardegreeor2-yeardegreeinasafetyrelated(EHS)fieldfromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversity,previousinternshipexperiencerecommended.
- Strongcommunicationandrelationship-buildingskills
- Abilitytosetprioritiesandexecuteproblemsolvingskills
