We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. The Sales Associate will assist customers in selecting jewelry, provide excellent customer service, and help maintain the store’s presentation and sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a welcoming shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting jewelry such as rings, necklaces, bracelets, and watches
- Explain product features, materials, and pricing to customers
- Process sales transactions using the POS system
- Handle customer inquiries, exchanges, and basic service requests
- Maintain clean and attractive product displays
- Restock merchandise and organize inventory
- Follow store policies regarding security and handling of high-value items
- Support store promotions and sales events
- Work as part of a team to meet store sales targets
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred (jewelry experience is an asset)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, skilled, and trustworthy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Flexible availability, including weekends and mall hours
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of diamonds, gold, and gemstones (training can be provided)
- Experience with POS systems
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
Work Setting:
- Retail store located in a shopping mall
- Standing for extended periods
- Working during mall operating hours, including weekends and holidays
