Role: Senior, SAP Financial Lead, Consultant

Duration: ASAP initially until January 2027, plus extensions up-to potentially a total of 2-years.

Level of Effort (LoE): Part time

- Weeks 1 to 8 at 4-hours, per week.
- Week 9 & 10 at 2-hours, per week.
- Leading to Up-to 40 hours upon extension

Project Description: PwC Canada requires a Senior Finance Consultant, to act as a part of PwC's internal SAP Practice leading as subject matter expert and providing ongoing advisor and support as required during the SAP S/4HANA Discovery-Phase, in preparation for the Greenfield Implementation. The client is in the food processing, packing, and shipping industry, specifically protein.

MANDATORY PREREQUISITE:

- Specialize within the SAP Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Asset Accounting (AA), Costing (CO) modules, as an SAP Finance Consultant,
- Must offer a minimum of ten years (120 months) of SAP Finance Consulting experience.

PREFERENCE:

- Ideally, applicants will offer an SAP Certification(s), and an Accounting Designation(s).
- Ideally, food processing, packing, and shipping industry experience.
- Ideally, experience with SAP Project Systems (PS), Group Reporting, SAC FP&A; and Budgeting.

Tasks and duties include:

- Lead functional stream by managing the workstream activities, collaborating cross-functionally and with PMO on activities such as but not limited to functional/technical dependencies, RAID.
- Representing workstream in daily standups, project status meetings and other ongoing project meetings.
- Collaborating with Client and other streams.





Lead functional fit to standard and technical & integrations workshops by providing:

- Inventory of BPML business processes in scope for phase 1.
- Documented Key Design Decisions (KDD) that will drive the solution architecture.
- High level future-state global process flows, including alignment to SAP best practices and S/4HANA solution scope.
- Gaps relative to standard, RICEFW register including integrations, reports and forms.
- Reporting and analytics requirements, identifying custom report requirements (gaps).
- Interfacing inventory, proposed integration approach, complexity levels, and refined effort estimates for design and build
- Initial inventory of change impacts, as identified during fit-to-standard workshops.
- Conducting SAP Fit-to-Standard workshops to confirm enterprise-wide business process standards aligned with SAP best practices, Clean Core principles and AI opportunities.
- Collaborating with Data team to define the data migration approach, including identification of data objects, data volume, migration tooling, and initial cleansing and transformation requirement.
- Collaborating with Security, Technical/Integration, and Change Management teams.
- Defining SAP organizational structure (company codes, plants, storage locations, purchasing organizations, sales organizations, etc.).

Provide input and collaborate with Delivery Lead,



PMO and client by:

- Creating a revised integrated program plan.
- Creating a register of all pertinent assumptions and uncertainties related to Project Elevate.
- Refreshing the existing list of program risks and mitigations plans.
- Creating a revised division of responsibilities and program roles between the end-client and PwC for inclusion in the next Statement of Work (SOW).
- Revising the cost estimate for subsequent implementation project.

Lead workstream deliverable and provide input into cross-functional and project deliverables:

- Program Scope and Workplan.
- Integration Strategy & Architecture Document.
- Data Migration Scope.
- Refined ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) Estimate.
- Executive Approval Packages.
