Our client in Vaughan is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer. They are seeking someone who has been employed as a Manufacturing Engineer with an automotive or aerospace manufacturing company.

Compensation

$80,000 – $95,000 per year

Responsibilities

- Lead the design, optimization, and validation of high-volume manufacturing processes, ensuring stable, efficient, and launch ready production methods.
- Define equipment requirements, manage procurement, and oversee installation of machinery, tooling, fixtures, and gauges to support robust manufacturing performance.
- Maintain and produce all required engineering and quality documentation, including APQP deliverables
- Drive corrective action activities (NCR, 8D), continuous improvement initiatives,



and cost reduction efforts focused on scrap, waste, throughput, and OEE.
- Partner with engineering, production, and tooling teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance manufacturability, and support new product and process development.
- A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering
- At least 3 years of work experience being employed with a manufacturing company (like automotive or aerospace) as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer
- Work experience reading GD&T; Drawings and blueprints
- Work experience with IATF 16949/AS 9100 or similar
