We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, Python, and SQL to design, develop, and support modern cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines, developing cloud-native data solutions, and optimizing large-scale data processing environments to support enterprise analytics and business-critical applications.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, Python, and SQL to design, develop, and support modern cloud-based data platforms.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake and Databricks.
- Build, optimize, and support ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Develop high-quality Python applications, automation scripts, APIs, and data integration services.
- Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformations.
- Develop scalable data models and implement data quality, validation, and reconciliation frameworks.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, data engineers, and application teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and large-scale data processing workloads.
- Support CI/CD implementation, automated deployments, testing, and production releases.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, audit, and regulatory standards.




- Participate in cloud modernization initiatives and contribute to continuous platform improvements.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, or application development.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms.
- 2+ years of experience developing solutions using Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Strong programming experience with Python (PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, REST APIs).
- Advanced SQL development skills with expertise in query optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data lake architectures.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and optimizing database performance.
