Stantec seeks a seasoned engineer to collaborate on diverse projects with senior resources in the Instrumentation and Controls team. This position focuses on enhancing control systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities. Your proficiency in PLC, HMI, and SCADA system designs will be pivotal as you contribute to the execution of cutting-edge projects.

Key Responsibilities:



• Develop and implement control strategies for water treatment • Prepare detailed engineering documents including P&ID; diagrams • Evaluate existing control systems and recommend upgrades • Assist with troubleshooting and commissioning during construction • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on design projects

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering • Experience of 15 years in instrumentation and control engineering • P.Eng. or ability to obtain within 18 months required • Solid collaboration and communication abilities • Proficiency in project planning and execution
