Our contact center plays a vital role in supporting over 400 retail locations across the country, helping Canadians reach their personal and financial goals. Through specialized, high-impact teams, we deliver the expert service, care, and support that fuel goeasy ’ssuccess. A day in the life of a Senior Financial Sales Representative :
- As a Senior Financial Sales Representative, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional sales and customer experiences while supporting the day-to-day effectiveness of the Sales team.
- You will act as a subject matter expert for Financial Sales Representatives (FSRs), support the achievement of team sales objectives, take ownership of complex customer situations, and help identify opportunities to improve both the customer and employee experience.
- Manage outbound contacts to recent and existing applicants via telephone, email, and text message to achieve enhanced individual sales targets that exceed standard FSR expectations.
- Consistently perform as a top sales contributor while demonstrating best practices in sales execution, customer experience, and relationship management.
- Create positive customer experiences by actively listening, demonstrating empathy, understanding customer needs, overcoming objections, and taking ownership throughout the sales process.
- Accurately assess customer needs, analyze lending opportunities, and submit loan applications in accordance with established underwriting guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Implement adaptive selling techniques by adjusting sales approaches based on customer communication styles, needs, and financial situations.
- Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and sound judgment while addressing customer concerns and overcoming objections.
- Ensure optimum servicing of existing applicants by promptly and accurately responding to customer inquiries and requests, particularly those of a more complex nature.
- Take ownership of complex applications, customer concerns, and escalated sales situations, applying sound judgment and partnering with leadership when required.
- Support the achievement of key Sales performance metrics, including funding, conversion, productivity, quality, compliance, customer experience, and Secured Personal Loan objectives.
- Monitor and manage personal performance against established targets and key performance indicators and take ownership of meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Act as a subject matter expert and resource for FSRs by providing real-time support, answering questions, assisting with complex applications, and helping team members navigate policies, procedures, systems, and underwriting guidelines.
- Coach and provide feedback to FSRs through day-to-day interactions, sharing knowledge, best practices, and sales techniques to improve performance, application quality, and customer outcomes.
- Support the onboarding and development of new hires by acting as a training buddy and mentor, providing guidance, encouragement, and knowledge transfer throughout the learning process.
- Support leaders with identifying coaching opportunities, knowledge gaps, and performance trends across the team.
- Assist with queue management, workflow prioritization, and operational activities to support service levels and business objectives.
- Review, monitor, and follow up on cumulative reports, exception reporting, and operational activities to ensure items are completed, updated, and resolved within established timelines.
- Monitor and encourage completion of required learning and development programs, including Axonify assignments, compliance training, and other mandatory learning requirements.
- Provide insights and feedback to leaders regarding sales trends, process gaps, customer feedback, operational challenges, and opportunities to improve performance and customer experience.
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Operations, Customer Service, Collections, Retail, and other business partners to resolve customer concerns and improve business outcomes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements, contributing ideas, and assisting with the development and maintenance of procedures, job aids, and best practices.
- Assist with new products, policies, processes, and system changes by sharing knowledge and supporting team members through implementation.
- Act as a delegate for Team Managers during absences, assisting with team support, escalations, reporting, queue management, communication, and day-to-day operational oversight.
- Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and professionalism while handling sensitive, complex, or high-impact customer situations.
- Comply with all established policies and procedures, including privacy requirements, AML regulations, compliance standards, and internal controls.
- Maintain the security and integrity of customer information while operating within a compliant, ethical, and customer-focused framework.
- Consistently demonstrate goeasy's values and contribute to a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team environment.
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of successful sales experience in a financial services, lending, contact centre, or customer-facing sales setting;
experience as a Financial Services Representative at goeasy is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and performance expectations.
- Advanced knowledge of lending products, underwriting guidelines, policies, procedures, systems, and compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the EFS Loan Underwriting Manual.
- Demonstrated ability to support, coach, mentor, and develop less experienced team members while acting as a trusted resource for peers.
- Experience handling complex customer situations, escalations, objections, and application challenges with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.
- Strong customer-first mindset with the ability to balance sales objectives and customer outcomes.
- Strong objection handling, negotiation, relationship-building,
and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, peers, and leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while working in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment.
- Strong understanding of sales and service performance metrics and the ability to manage performance against targets, KPIs, and service expectations.
- Proven ability to positively influence team performance and engagement through coaching, mentorship, and leading by example.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, documentation, and follow-through.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, take ownership, and make decisions within established policies and guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance productivity, quality, customer experience, and operational priorities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to learn and master new systems and technologies.

- Must have been in your current role for 9 months.
- Have the endorsement / support of your current manager.
- Must not be currently under corrective action or within 6 months of any previous corrective action.
