Alpha Hub is building an AI-powered platform for private capital markets from the ground up. We're still early enough that major architecture, engineering culture, and product decisions haven't been locked in yet.

We're looking for a versatile Full Stack Developer who wants to help build, not just contribute.

Role overview

You will build core Alpha Hub functionality across the frontend and backend and help establish the engineering foundation for future growth. This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable moving between product questions, system design, APIs, databases, and production delivery.

What you will do

- Build core platform functionality across the frontend and backend.
- Design and implement APIs, databases, and scalable system architecture.
- Integrate AI-powered capabilities into reliable user-facing product experiences.
- Work directly with product and leadership on technical and product decisions.
- Help establish engineering practices and a maintainable foundation for future growth.

What you bring

- Hands-on experience delivering full-stack web applications in production environments.
- Ability to work across APIs, databases, backend services, and modern frontend development.
- Practical experience with relevant technologies such as Python, Django, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS, and GraphQL or REST APIs.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership in ambiguous technical environments.

Helpful but not required





- Experience integrating OpenAI or other AI-powered services into software products.
- Experience in an early-stage startup, fintech, private markets, or another data-intensive platform.

Why we are building this

We've spent years around founders, investors, operators, and capital markets. We saw talented companies struggle to raise capital, investors struggle to evaluate opportunities, and critical processes still being managed through disconnected tools, spreadsheets, and email chains. In a nutshell, this industry loves investing in tech but is itself majorly in need of an upgrade.

We're building Alpha Hub because we believe private capital deserves better infrastructure, a real end-to-end platform that doesn't exist yet in this highly fragmented landscape. More importantly, we enjoy building ambitious things with smart people and tackling problems that don't have obvious answers.

We're more interested in builders than checkbox matches.

Compensation

This role begins as an equity-based position while we complete our current fundraising process.

We understand that's not a conventional arrangement, and it won't be the right fit for everyone. We're looking for people who value ownership, impact, and the opportunity to help shape a company from an early stage.
