About:

Our team is currently looking for experienced QA Lead/Senior QA Consultant for contractual opportunities supporting a large-scale Connex migration program. We're particularly interested in professionals with hands‑on experience testing IBM Connex/payment switch platforms, as well as designing and executing end‑to‑end test strategies for complex payments ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

- Connex switch migration, modernization, or replacement programs
- ISO 8583 message testing and transaction life‑cycle validation
- Experience using XCheck (IBM Connex/FIS legacy testing tool) for transaction simulation, ISO 8583 message validation, and payment switch testing
- Testing strategy, test planning,



and test suite development
- Mainframe processing and interface testing
- ATM, POS, Debit, Credit, MCW, Interac, and network transaction flows
- Authorization, reversals, stand‑in processing, settlement, and reconciliation flows testing
- End‑to‑end and system integration testing across distributed and mainframe platforms
- Test automation framework development and regression testing
- Performance, volume, and resilience testing for high‑throughput payment systems
- Defect management, root cause analysis, and production validation support
- Experience working with payment processors, card networks, or acquiring/issuing systems
