AppDirect is seeking a Senior Revenue Accounting Manager in Canada to innovate the way we recognize and report revenue globally. Bring your expertise in ASC 606 to drive impactful changes.
In this senior role, you will contribute to AppDirect's mission of enabling digital entrepreneurs globally. You will utilize your deep knowledge of revenue accounting principles with 6+ years of experience to enhance workflows and systems. Collaborating across Finance, Legal, and Sales departments, you will lead revenue recognition procedures, ensuring guidelines are met and processes are scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform contract reviews for revenue recognition under ASC 606 • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes • Partner with system teams to optimize NetSuite ARM utilization • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives • Participate in integration projects related to M&A; activities
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus • 6+ years of experience in revenue accounting • Solid grasp of IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards • Experience with NetSuite ARM is essential • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
