About the Role

As a fast-growing startup, we move quickly, innovate constantly, and value versatile engineers who want to grow alongside the company. We are seeking a highly adaptable Senior RF Hardware Engineer – Design & Validation with expertise in board-level RF circuit design and PCB layout to join our test and validation team. In this role, you will validate our product in pilot runs and directly support key customers in integrating our technology into cutting-edge hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Full-Lifecycle RF Hardware Ownership: Drive RF PCB design from initial simulation, component selection, and schematic capture through layout, assembly, bring-up, debugging, and production-ready manufacturing validation.
- Product Validation & Testing: Conduct hands-on chip-level and PCB-level characterization across socket test setups and EVBs during pilot run and validation phases.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to resolve hardware bugs quickly and deliver key product milestones on schedule.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in RF hardware design, PCB layout, and board-level system integration.




- Deep understanding of the full hardware design lifecycle: schematic capture, PCB layout, simulation, and validation
- Deep understanding of the signal integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, and DFM/DFT best practices
- Expertise using RF lab equipment, including Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers, High-Speed Oscilloscopes, and Signal Generators.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Hands-on experience in microwave and mm-wave Power Amplifier (PA) testing, bench calibration, and RF matching/tuning.
- Proven track record designing evaluation boards (EVBs) or characterization test fixtures for high-frequency semiconductor ICs.
- Direct experience with phased array antennas, beamforming networks, or electronically steered user terminals.
- Thrives in a rapid-paced, startup environment with shifting priorities and cross-functional demands.
- Strong test automation skills (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB) to streamline RF bench testing and IC validation workflows.
- Hands-on experience with electromagnetic and RF circuit simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS and Keysight ADS.
