Our client is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its team based at Luxstowe House in Liskeard. This role involves supporting individuals across East Cornwall, delivering high-quality assessments and interventions while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will:

- Complete Mental Capacity Assessments
- Undertake Section 42 safeguarding enquiries
- Carry out strengths and needs assessments
- Develop and review care and support plans
- Participate in court work where required
- Manage and prioritise a varied caseload to meet deadlines
- Conduct face-to-face visits within the East Cornwall area

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration
- Proven experience in adult social care
- Strong assessment and safeguarding experience
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines efficiently
- Access to a car and ability to travel within the region
- Availability for a minimum of 2 days per week for face-to-face visits (remaining work can be completed remotely)





Working Arrangements:

- Minimum 2 days per week in office for visits
- Remaining work can be completed remotely
