About the Role: Sr. Supply Chain Manager, Network Planning

At the heart of this position is ownership of the weekly planning process — from gathering inputs and building models to communicating finalized plans to downstream teams. You'll work closely with demand planning, middle and last mile leads, and external stakeholder teams to understand capacity, coverage, and network design changes that affect transportation volumes across Canada.

Beyond weekly cadences, you'll lead high-volume event planning, projecting the impact of demand and capacity scenarios and aligning on recommendations shared with senior leadership. You'll also champion the adoption of AI and automation solutions to sharpen plan accuracy and reduce cycle times, while partnering with tech teams on tool development and process improvements.

Benefits and Salary

The base salary range for this position is $72,800 to $121,600 CAD annually. Amazon's total compensation package may also include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Responsibilities

This role sits within Amazon's Transportation Network Planning Team, which is responsible for generating volume plans for every package leaving a fulfilment centre. Your day-to-day work shapes how middle and last mile teams plan their labour and capacity, making accuracy and clear communication essential at every step.

- Lead the weekly planning process, including input gathering, modelling, and communicating finalized plans to downstream operational teams
- Engage with demand planning to understand and align on topline demand figures and confidence intervals
- Partner with Middle and Last Mile leads to track changes across all components of transportation plans
- Connect with external stakeholder teams to evaluate trends and upcoming changes related to carrier capacity, coverage, network design, Sort Centre capacity, Amazon Air capacity, and Fulfilment Centre shipment plans
- Lead high-volume event (HVE) planning by projecting the impact of demand and capacity scenarios, aligning on a recommendation, and presenting findings to Directors and VPs




- Leverage AI and automation solutions to improve plan accuracy, reduce plan generation cycle time, and enhance data sharing
- Drive tool and process improvements, including partnering with tech teams to build new tools or onboard onto existing ones
- Monitor daily performance trends for anomalies, summarize findings, and communicate action plans to leaders

Requirements / Skills

- 5+ years of program or project management experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
- 5+ years of supply chain experience with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end delivery
- Data and metrics proficiency — experience using data to identify opportunities and drive measurable improvements
- Senior leadership communication — proven ability to present program strategy and results to executive-level audiences
- 2+ years of process improvement experience (preferred)
- Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, organizational development, or a related field (preferred)

5+ years of program or project management experience; 5+ years of supply chain experience; experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements; experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership; 2+ years of driving process improvements experience (preferred); Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field (preferred).
