Position Summary: Reporting to the farm manager, the Dairy Farm Worker is responsible for assisting with carrying out day-to-day activities on the dairy farm.

Duties include :

- Feed and tend high productive dairy cows and additional youngstock
- Clean beddings and barns
- Assist with the milking process, bring cows to the milk robot if necessary, recognize and report robotic error messages
- Recognize and report cows in heat
- Recognize and report disease and health problems in young calves and other livestock




- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Check and monitor water basins and air flow in barns
- Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure including cleaning stables, barns, barnyards.
- Follow food safety and security and animal bio-security procedures

Requirements :

- Some experience is an asset
- Affinity with livestock is required
- Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment is necessary
- High school equivalent
- – Able to communicate in the English language
