Engineer for Dam Safety, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing tailings and water storage facilities at Teck’s expansive mining operations. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will maintain critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders while promoting a culture of safety and compliance in all engineering activities. Key Responsibilities:

- Promote safety by conducting regular field leadership visits.
- Collaborate with internal teams for communication on best practices.
- Ensure compliance with provincial and national regulatory standards.




- Manage documentation related to tailings safety and emergency preparedness.
- Lead project execution related to geotechnical engineering scopes. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) eligibility in British Columbia.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a mining environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage consultants and technical resources.
