Our client, a well-established international pharmaceutical company operating in Canada, is seeking a Finance Manager to join its team. As a true business partner, this individual will play a key role in tax management, financial analysis, and strategic planning, while collaborating closely with various teams across the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax returns, including R&D; tax credits, and manage tax obligations and relationships with tax authorities
- Prepare analyses and reports related to transfer pricing
- Record, calculate, and monitor income tax expenses, including deferred tax assets and liabilities
- Participate in statutory, internal, and tax audits
- Contribute to the implementation of internal controls and compliance with financial procedures
- Provide financial analyses and recommendations on business plans, objectives, and key performance drivers
- Participate in budget preparation and assess financial performance against operational objectives and forecasts
- Prepare cash flow projections and ensure compliance of financial closings in accordance with GAAP standards
- Participate in discussions with business partners and contribute to the review of contractual agreements
