Position: Technical Project Manager
Location: Toronto ON
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of application development, application enhancement, and modernization projects within Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets organizations.
- Manage all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production rollout.
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Drive execution of complex technology programs involving enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, workflow automation, and document management solutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, data teams, and product stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead application modernization initiatives involving legacy system transformation, platform upgrades, API integrations, and digital transformation efforts.
- Manage data-driven projects involving data migration, data integration, reporting, analytics, and information management initiatives.
- Establish project governance processes, maintain project plans, track milestones, and provide status updates to senior leadership and business sponsors.
- Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints,
and proactively drive mitigation and resolution plans.
- Ensure projects are delivered using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies while maintaining quality, compliance, and delivery standards.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions and delivery roadmaps.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, sprint ceremonies, status reviews, and executive communication to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
