Your role will focus on family recruitment and student care to enhance homestay experiences. NLPS is hiring a 0.4 FTE Home Stay Coordinator to lead the Homestay Program.

Responsibilities include recruiting caring families, conducting student orientations, and providing ongoing support to ensure positive homestay experiences. Flexibility in hours is required to meet program needs, especially in crisis situations. Key Responsibilities:

- Recruit and assess potential homestay families
- Coordinate student placements and orientation sessions
- Monitor satisfaction and conduct exit interviews
- Address and resolve conflicts between students and families
- Facilitate communication with educational bodies Requirements:
- High school graduation or equivalent qualification
- Two-year diploma in Child and Youth Care or Social Work
- Minimum two years of relevant experience required
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive discussions Support international students and create positive homestay environments through this enriching role.
