Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Territory Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in the Kimberley, Northern Cape region. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing a sales team, developing strategic territory plans, and ensuring exceptional customer engagement. You will leverage your expertise in sales management and market penetration to achieve ambitious targets and expand our client's market share.
This is a field-based leadership role requiring extensive local travel and a strong presence within the territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Manage, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to maximize performance.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with key clients and distribution partners within the territory.
- Ensure effective implementation of sales and marketing initiatives.
- Report on territory performance, forecasts, and key initiatives to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management or territory leadership.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through team leadership.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies and performance metrics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
