Role Description The Treatment Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. This position is responsible for guiding patients through their treatment journey, including explaining recommended procedures, presenting treatment plans, and answering questions about clinical steps and outcomes. Daily tasks include scheduling appointments, coordinating with clinical staff, reviewing insurance coverage, preparing financial estimates, and managing patient records.

The role also involves following up with patients regarding upcoming visits, ensuring informed consent, and maintaining explicit, respectful communication at every contact point.

The Treatment

Coordinator supports a smooth patient experience by aligning clinical, administrative,



and financial details in a timely and organized manner.

Qualifications

- Ability to develop and present clear, organized treatment plans; strong skills in Treatment Planning and understanding of Dental Care procedures.
- Knowledge of dental insurance processes, including verification, pre-authorizations, and claims; experience working with Insurance and financial arrangements.
- Demonstrated strength in Customer Service, with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and patient education; commitment to a positive patient experience.
- Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal explanations, and accurate written documentation.
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office environment, preferably in a treatment coordination or administrative role.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and comfort working with practice management software.
- Ability to work collaboratively with dentists, specialists, and support staff in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in dental administration, healthcare, or a related field is an asset.
